2012 Afterparty Announced!
We here at the 3 Minute Film Fest are so happy to be partnering with Coyote Cafe this year for the festival afterparty. This year’s party will occur immediately after the festival at Coyote’s bar space, The Den, and will feature A-M-A-Z-I-N-G food from head chef Eric DiStefano. Make sure not to miss it!
The Entries Are In!
Thanks to everyone who sent in a film this year – we received a HUGE number of submissions this year with an especially good showing from local New Mexico filmmakers. We’re really excited to watch all the films but definitely not looking forward to making the tough calls about what films make it to the final program. Stay tuned for the final line-up of the 2012 Three Minute Film Fest program, announced Monday April 30th.
The Evolution of the Poster
3MFF poster artist Luke Dorman documented the poster design process on his website. He recently added an image showing all of the steps from start to finish. It’s pretty cool seeing the poster take shape – check it out here.
Monster Ballet
Tristan Love’s film, “Monster Ballet,” the winner of the Best Animation category at the 2006 festival.
The Tragic Death of Norman Rockwell
Another audience favorite from the 2006 festival. “The Tragic Death of Norman Rockwell” by Steven Robbins and Michael W. Young II.
